When fitting New Belts and/or Table Rollers to the A & E Series it is vital that these are aligned correctly to ensure that the belts do not drift to the left or right of their intended position.
1. Place rubber belts on turntable arrows facing away from cut and start!
2. Fit bale guides x 6 to Under side of Belts, 3 at the front and 3 at the Rear.
3. Assemble the bearings to the Rollers
4. Ensure that the locking collar’s are turned into the rollers.
5. Place roller through rubber belts
6. Mount the Rollers and Bearings to the Chassis
7. Ensure there is adequate Clearance between the chassis and Rollers, keeping the Rollers Centered will allow clearance.
8. Squeeze the Locking Collars
9. Fit the Sprocket to the Driven Roller and check the alignment with the Drive Sprocket
10. Tension chain:
Distance From Point to Point 1145 – 1148 (Center Points of Roller Shafts)
11. Tighten Tension Bolt (Distance from Table frame to Bearing is Approx 60 mm as a guide distance)
12. When the chain is tensioned, check the measurement of the adjustment bolt and ensure the opposite side is the same. (Should be approx 40 mm) as shown below.
13. Ensure all Bolts are tight and Chain tension okay.
Having Both sides the same is very important here so the Alignment will be as accurate as possible.
